Eagles
I was surprised to see this eagle right across the street from my house, in a vacant lot.
It was eventually joined by four others. They were all competing for the same rabbit.

Marina sunset
I was hoping for a blazing sunset but settled for gentle hues. I was pleased when the heron flew in and decided to stay still for the one and a half seconds of the exposure. I am going to try this scene again.

Surrounded by Mountains
As I drove south to Coupeville this morning the Olympics could be seen over Penn's Cove and the San de Fuca dock.
Driving back north to Oak Harbor revealed Mt. Baker with its fresh coat of snow dwarfing the Oak Harbor marina.
