Whidbey Island Sunset

A recent sunset from the west side of Whidbey Island. I was surprised to see a Washington State ferry on the horizon, heading south. That is not a regular run of the ferry system so the ferry must have been going to a new route, or to dry dock. The outline of the Olympic Mountains is barely visible.

After a month of rain, it is good to see my favorite mountain again.

Even though we had frost this morning, the air is not clear. I long for the crisp, clear days.
