This photo taken March 23 shows the Olympics finally have their full share of winter snow. The photo was taken at the Sno-Isle Library parking lot on the east side of Oak Harbor.
This was the sunrise March 22. The sun has moved over half of its way north and left the North Cascades behind. This photo was taken from the west side of Oak Harbor.
I was fascinated by the heavy frost we had the other morning. There was plenty of humidity in the air and it made for interesting mountains of frost. (Well, mini-mountains.)
This view is a familiar one to me as my childhood home is just up the hill from the dock and what used to be the post office and small grocery store nearby.
