June Display

This June has been gray but the clouds put on a show this week.

Lady Washington and Hawaiian Chieftain

The Lady Washington and Hawaiian Chieftain as they motor through Deception Pass today.  The ships docked at Cornet Bay and leave in the morning for Port Townsend.

Maylor Point Trail Panorama

This panorama gives an idea of the view from the end of the Maylor Point Trail, here in Oak Harbor, WA.

Mayor's Point Trail

I walked the recently opened Maylor's Point Trail from the Oak Harbor Marina.  The views are great and eagles abound.

May Wind Storm

Gusts over 55 mph made for a stormy day at West Beach.  The powerful clouds bunched up as they reached the Cascade Mountains.

Polarized Stressed Plastics

When stressed plastic, such as a CD or cassette case is placed in front of a computer monitor and then photographed, using a polarizing filter, this results!
