I think this is a Common Quaker Moth. I was amazed at the intricate design - good camouflage for rocks or gravel.

The first blossoms on the magnolia are bursting out.

The yellows are out and the pinks are not far behind.

Olympic Mountains from Oak Harbor

This photo taken March 23 shows the Olympics finally have their full share of winter snow. The photo was taken at the Sno-Isle Library parking lot on the east side of Oak Harbor.
