The last part of our hike around Granite Mountain was on the Cow Poke Trail.

Spring on Whidbey

I found these tulips about a block from where I live. My reds are not quit opening yet. The calendar may not say it, but it's spring on Whidbey.

Not in Washington Any More

When I saw this sign on our hike near Scottsdale, AZ, I knew I wasn't in western Washington any more.

We continued around Granite Mountain on the Canyon Trail.

Sunrise and Sunset February 25

The beginning and ending of a day on Whidbey Island. The sunrise is from my neighbor's deck and the sunset is near the aptly named Sunset Beach with Swan Lake in the foreground and the Olympic Mountains at the left horizon. A cloud bank obscures Vancouver Island.

North Regional Regatta

The Oak Harbor High School Wildcat Sailing team hosted the North Regional Regatta today.
