Mount Baker

To the northeast is Mt. Baker. Its majesty dominates the landscape. Hills and cliffs on the east side of Whidbey Island offer breath-taking views. Mt. Baker is now the "snowiest" place on earth, setting the world record for
snowfall in a single season (1,140 inches or 95 feet) in 1999.
