The crescent moon set over the fog shrouded Olympic Mountains last night. This was the view at 8:10 pm. Notice Venus in the upper left of the top photo. Tonight the moon will be much closer to Venus and should make for an awesome view. You may want to go out to the west side of Whidbey Island about 8 pm and see something that does not happen very often.
