The seven acres of tidelands and shoreline at English Boom was once a storage area for large log booms. During the 1920s and 1930s the English Lumber Company logged nearby forests. Logs were stored here until transported by tugboat to sawmills around Puget Sound.
It is now part of an extensive wildlife habitat.
A covered picnic area and trails make this park at the north end of Camano Island a nice place to watch the wildlife.
