Mt. Baker Plume - March 17

Mt. Baker reminded us this weekend that it is an active mountain. It has steam vents that release water vapor, sulfur gases, and carbon dioxide. Usually we don't see the plume but on this morning calm skies allowed the plume to last for a while. Earthquake activity is reported at minimal so we don't have to worry about it erupting any time soon.
