Northrup Canyon State Park

Northrup Canyon is east of Steamboat Rock State Park, about a mile off SR 155 n eastern Washington.
It was settled by three families in the late 1800s and was a stage coach route, a short cut into the Grand Coulee.
The cliffs forming the walls of the canyon are water-eroded basalt. My sister and I were on a road trip through the area in July.
