Mt. Baker from Fir Island Road about a week ago. The fuzzy green foreground was caused by my taking the photo while my friend was driving. Fir Island is between two branches of the Skagit River near its outflow.
This is the view from the parking area at milepost 100 on SR20. It is a favorite eagle viewing location along the Skagit River.
An eagle sunning itself at milepost 100 on SR20, the parking spot for eagle watching.
This is the view from a small parking area (Discover Pass required) just south of Rockport. It borders the Skagit River and is at a curve of Martin Road off SR530. Called Bald Eagle Natural Area, I did see one eagle fly by.
