Backyard Birds: Eurasian Collared-Dove

This bird was introduced to the Bahamas around 1974. By 1980 it had made its way to Florida and then spread across America. It was first seen in Washington State in 2000. We've had two living nearby for a couple of years and this summer saw two young ones. Now there are regularly four or five near our bird feeders.
