Viewing the North Cascades from Oak Harbor, we rarely see beyond the first range of mountains. The sun was shining on the peaks beyond that first range recently so they stood out against the overcast sky.
The contrast was not very good as there were clouds behind the mountains but the sun shining on them helped to make them visible. Pilchuck is the mountain at the right in the photo below.
Below is a detailed view that shows the range as it extends beyond Pilchuck, the large mountain at the right. Big Four Mountain is the rather tall peak about a quarter of the way in from the left edge of the photo.
In the photo below, Glacier Peak can be seen just to the left of Three Fingers with Blue Mountain to the right.
