 Summer has arrived on the Pacific Northwest and with it are views of the mountains visible from Oak Harbor, two mountain ranges and two volcanoes.

There is a hill on the west side of Oak Harbor where one can see Mt. Rainier, 

the North Cascades,

and Mt. Baker.

It's about a mile from where I live and is a nice walk. The views are certainly worth the early morning effort today. iPhone photos.

The Mountain is Out

I walked the beach trail along Oak Harbor Bay this morning and was happy to see Mt. Rainier. Yes, those are whitecaps. The wind was chilly! And yes, that is an eagle on the channel marker.
