Ft Ebey State Park, Whidbey Island

With the state parks in Washington opening up, it was so good to go to Ft. Ebey State Park on the west side of Whidbey Island and see a favorite view of the Olympic Mountains.

Fort Ebey Panorama

I find it difficult to give a full sense of the view at Fort Ebey State Park on Whidbey Island. The expanse of sea and mountains is breathtaking. This shot was from December 23.

Picnic with a View

A great place for a picnic, now that the temperatures are in the upper 60s, is Fort Ebey State Park. I was there yesterday morning for a view of the new snow from the "winter" storm a few days ago. Fort Ebey State Park is on the west side of Whidbey Island.

If you haven't been out to Fort Ebey State Park on the west side of Whidbey Island, you are missing a great opportunity for bluff hikes with beautiful scenes.

Olympic Dusk

I was at Ft. Ebey State Park to catch the sunset. I found the view to the south more interesting, especially after sunset. I tried several times to get the lighthouse (center of the horizon) and only managed it in this photo. April 12, 2014.

The sun was out yesterday so I went to Fort Ebey State Park on the west side of Whidbey Island. I love the view of the Olympics from the bluff.
