Ft. Ebey State Park, Whidbey Island

A great place to go on a sunny weekend is Fort Ebey State Park.
There is bluff hiking with great views of the Olympics and Admiralty Inlet.
There are lots of tables for picnics.
There are beaches for walking.
There is even a small lake in the park. I took these photos 5/22/2017.

Winter at Ft. Ebey State Park

A frosty February morning at the state park on Whidbey Island. The camping area is closed for the winter but there are still great views of the Olympics and many bluff trails to hike.

Ft. Ebey State Park

One of my favorite places for a quiet morning is Ft. Ebey State Park on Whidbey Island. The views of the Olympics and the Salish Sea are amazing, such as this one from January 12.
There are trails for hiking and spaces for camping, although the camping section of the park is closed in the winter.
